Trying not to get too irritated by our government still requiring checks instead of accepting cards, snail mail instead of emails, and in-person interviews or appointments where a phone call or online page would suffice, respectively .
Beuracracy at it’s finest

I just nuked 12 sheets of section 08 details because a coworker just threw them on the sheets with no actual organization.

I tried ordering stools for one of our workshops mid March, was first told it was approved, then was told a few days later that was wrong it had to go through the formal furniture purchases process which required a furniture consultation which required an ergonomics evaluation resulted in lots of automated emails with my furniture and ergo support request ticket and then crickets since the end of March . I gave up and borrowed two old stools from one of our other shops . Then today out of the blue a lady from a Government-approved interior furniture vendor down in Albuquerque calls me at 4:00 while I’m in a meeting leaving a voicemail saying she needs to talk to me about some chairs I’ve ordered and of course she’s gone for the day when I get out of the meeting.
